Gallery of Results

Below we have a series of images showing some of the preliminary results submitted by our volunteers. All of our volunteers have done a great job of submitting potential merger matches. We are very grateful for everyone's contributions. With the continued use of the Merger Wars activity, we hope to be able to start recognizing the individual volunteers who have submitted the closest matches for each target. More on that soon . . .

We present the SDSS color image of the target as well as a set of four negative images. For each set of four images, the top left image is the gray scale image used as the target image in the Merger Applet. The other three images show the simulation results for three of the closer matches for each target. The images have had their colors inverted to add contrast for the fainter features. As more simulations are submitted and reviewed in Merger Wars, we hope to bring you even more results in our Gallery.
